Ber ka Achar is a sweet and tangy pickle flavored with spices. It is prepared with red ripened soft Ber or Kulle in Bengal. Ber ka Achar is popularly known as Kuler Achar in Bengal. Instead of spices, Panch Phoran is used. Typically, panch phoron consists of fenugreek seed, nigella seed, cumin seed, black mustard seed, and fennel seed in equal parts.
