Mixed Vegetable Dal
Mixed Vegetables dal or vegetables mixed dal or sabzi dal is easy dal made with lots of dals and vegetable variety. This dal recipe is very good if someone in your family doesn't like any party dal or beans and vegetables. Everything get's cooked and mashed so it's difficult for anyone to point out the ingredient that they don't eat or like. This dal is protein-rich by using a variety of legumes and vegetables provides other essential vitamins.
Ingredients:-
- Moong Dal - 500 g.
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried Chili - 2 pcs
- Bay Leaf - 2 pcs
- Mixed Vegetable - 1 cup finely chopped {Carrot, Cauliflower, Beans & Green Peas}
- Oil - 50 g.
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ghee - 1 teaspoon
- Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
How to make Mixed Vegetable Dal:-
- Firstly heat the pan and fry the dal well without oil.
- Now when the dal are well fried, boil them well with an adequate amount of water, then when the dal is cooked, put them in a pot.
- Now put oil in the pan and when the oil is hot, fry it well with the finely chopped vegetables {Carrot, Cauliflower, Beans & Green Peas}.
- Now when the vegetables are fried, take them in a pot.
- Now put two bay leaves, two dried chilies, and 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds in the pan.
- Then boiled dal in the pan and let it boil for a while with added the well-fried vegetables.
- Now boil the dal with salt and sugar to taste.
- Now before lowering the dal, stir well with 1 teaspoon of ghee and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala and turn off the gas.
- Now ready for your Mixed Vegetable Dal.
